About
Damasónico, Production Sound Mixer based in Spain.
Damasónico is my professional name, and I’m Dámaso Hernández. I’m a Production Sound Mixer with over two decades of experience in the Spanish film industry, working across films, series, commercials, and documentaries on both national and international productions.
Since 2000, I have built my career in sound from the ground up. A significant part of that path was shaped by many years as a highly regarded boom operator, an experience that gave me a deep understanding of the craft, set dynamics, and the practical needs of production. That foundation has shaped a working approach defined by technical precision, adaptability, and close collaboration with the wider crew. Based in Spain, I work as an established Production Sound Mixer on projects both at home and abroad, always focused on delivering dependable, high-quality sound that supports the creative vision, the performances, and the overall value of each production.
